Before They Call, They See You.

Real estate is a personal business. Long before someone picks up the phone, they've probably already looked you up, visited your website, scrolled through your listings or checked out your social media.

And somewhere along the way, they've seen your photograph.

Your headshot should do more than show people what you look like. It should give them a sense of who they'll be working with. Approachable, confident, professional, and someone they'd actually enjoy spending time with.

At our Torrance studio, we work with real estate agents, brokers and teams throughout the South Bay of Los Angeles to create headshots and branding photographs that feel like the people in them.

Whether you need one great image or a collection of photographs for your marketing, we'll help you figure out what works best for you.

More Than a Standard Headshot

A traditional headshot is a great place to start, but depending on how you market yourself, you may need more than one photograph.

Some agents need a clean, professional portrait for their brokerage website and business cards. Others want a collection of images that shows more personality, with different settings, expressions and framing for their website, social media and marketing.

The goal isn't to make every photograph look the same. It's to give you a collection of images that work together, while giving you enough variety to use them across different platforms.

We can photograph everything from a traditional headshot to a more relaxed environmental portrait, or create a combination of both during your session.

One Agent. Several Different Looks.

Your business card, website, property listings and social media don't necessarily need the same photograph. During a session, we can create several different looks, each with its own purpose, while keeping everything consistent with how you want to present yourself.

We'll work through different lighting, backgrounds, expressions and framing based on what you need. You don't have to arrive knowing how to pose or what to do with your hands. That's my job, and we'll have a pretty good time getting there.

Headshots or Personal Branding? Why Not Both?

Not every real estate professional needs the same kind of photography. Some simply need an updated headshot. Others are building a recognizable personal brand and need a broader collection of images to work with. We can accommodate either, or combine the two during a longer session.

Professional Headshots

Sometimes one great photograph is exactly what you need.

A clean, engaging headshot gives potential clients a clear sense of who they'll be working with. We'll work through expression, lighting and background options to find something that feels professional without looking stiff or overly posed.

Great for: Brokerage websites, business cards, LinkedIn, email signatures and professional directories.

Personal Branding Photography

When you're marketing yourself across several platforms, a little variety goes a long way.

We can create more relaxed portraits, environmental images and different looks that give you options for everything from your website to social media and advertising.

Great for: Personal websites, social media, promotional materials, marketing campaigns and building a consistent visual identity.

Not sure which direction makes the most sense? Tell us where you plan to use your photographs, and we'll help you choose a session that gives you what you actually need.

You Don't Have to Know How to Pose

Most people who come into our studio aren't professional models, and I certainly don't expect them to be. In fact, one of the things I hear most often before a session is, "I'm terrible in front of a camera."

That's perfectly fine. My approach is built around direction, conversation and movement. Rather than asking you to stand perfectly still and manufacture a smile, we'll work through different expressions and small adjustments that bring out your personality. Sometimes that means getting you laughing. Other times it's about finding a quieter, more confident expression.

We'll also review photographs as we go, so you can see what's working. That gives us a chance to make adjustments together rather than leaving you wondering what happened until the gallery arrives.

Whether you're coming in for one professional headshot or a longer personal branding session, the goal is the same: photographs that look like you, on a particularly good day.

You can explore more of our approach and session options on our South Bay headshot photography page.

Your Team Should Look Like a Team

When someone visits your brokerage website and sees all your agents together, the photography should feel consistent. That doesn't mean everyone needs the same expression or personality. It means creating a recognizable look that brings the team together while letting each individual come through.

Consistent Photography. Individual Personalities.

Whether you're a small real estate partnership or a larger brokerage, we can establish a consistent lighting style, background and overall look for your team.

You're welcome to bring everyone to our 4,500-square-foot Torrance studio, where we're already set up with several lighting and background options. We can also come to your office when that makes more sense for your team.

And when a new agent joins six months down the road, having an established setup makes it much easier to match the existing photographs.

Show People More Than Your Face

A great headshot introduces you. Lifestyle photography gives potential clients a little more to connect with. It shows you in your environment, interacting with people and doing the work that makes your business yours.

For real estate agents, that might mean photographs at a property, working with a client, walking through a neighborhood or simply looking relaxed and approachable in a setting that feels natural to you. These are the kinds of images that can give your website, social media and marketing materials a more personal feel.

My background in commercial lifestyle photography comes into play here. We can plan photographs around how you actually market your business, rather than simply adding a few extra poses to a headshot session.

At Our Studio or Yours

We work with individual real estate agents, partnerships and entire brokerages throughout the South Bay of Los Angeles. Depending on the number of people being photographed and the type of images you need, we can arrange your session at our Torrance studio or bring the photography to your office.

Our Torrance Studio

Our 4,500-square-foot studio on Skypark Drive gives us plenty of room to work with different lighting setups, backgrounds and compositions.

It's particularly convenient for individual agents and smaller groups. We can move between looks without having to rebuild an entire set, and the controlled environment makes it easier to maintain consistency when new team members need photographs later.

We can also arrange separate studio appointments for agents who can't all make it on the same day.

If you're coming in on your own, you can also take a look at our headshot session options and rates to see which session might work best for you.

We Come to You

For larger teams and brokerages, bringing the photography to your office may be the more practical option.

We'll discuss the space available, the number of people being photographed and the look you're after. We generally need a minimum of approximately 800 square feet for a comfortable setup, although the exact requirements depend on the room and lighting.

We can also incorporate your office environment when it makes sense for your branding.

Frequently Asked Questions About Real Estate Headshots

A few things you might be wondering before scheduling your session.

FAQ 1

What should I wear for my real estate headshot?

Think about how you typically present yourself when meeting a client. If that's a suit or blazer, great. If your business has a more relaxed style, we can work with that too.

Solid colors and clothing that fits well generally photograph nicely. You're welcome to bring a few options, and we'll help you decide what works best with the lighting and background.

FAQ 2

Can I get more than one look during my session?

Absolutely. Depending on the session you choose, we can work through different clothing, backgrounds, lighting and expressions.

If you need photographs for several purposes, such as your brokerage profile, website, social media and marketing materials, let us know beforehand so we can plan accordingly.

FAQ 3

Can you match our brokerage's existing headshots?

In many cases, yes. If your brokerage already has an established photographic style, send us a few examples before your session.

We'll look at the background, lighting, framing and overall presentation to determine how closely we can match it. We can also develop a new, consistent look for your team if you're ready for an update.

FAQ 4

Does everyone on our team need to come in together?

Not necessarily. While photographing everyone during one coordinated session is often the most efficient option, we can also arrange individual studio appointments.

This can work particularly well for busy real estate teams whose agents have different schedules. We'll establish the lighting and background in advance so the finished photographs maintain a consistent appearance.

FAQ 5

How far in advance should I book?

Our online booking calendar requires at least 24 hours' notice. If you need something sooner, give us a call. Same-day appointments may be possible depending on availability.

We also offer weekend sessions. If you need an evening appointment or have a larger team to coordinate, contact us directly so we can discuss the options.
